Our “hands-on” business philosophy is focused on supporting small and medium business with strategising and delivering on the practical responsibilities involved in managing people, who we find are often unable to invest in master class HR expertise on an ongoing basis. As seasoned Professionals with practical experience in developing, executing and managing the tasks within the human resources portfolio of organisations we are qualified to support you in executing these tasks virtually in the form of either ad-hoc HR projects or on a retained service basis.

Advisory and mentorship of day to day people management challenges, development of Human resources strategy, policy, performance management, annual statutory compliance reporting, and labour law compliance consulting. Founder and Chartered HR Professional
Natalie had the privilege of gaining work exposure to both multinational Corporations and domestic organisations in various sectors. Whilst in-house managing the day to day operations she found that the much- needed HR projects were put on the back burner due to limited capacity and financial constraints.
This is where Hands-on Human Resources comes in, to partner with SME’s and or task teams to execute on your projects Or as retained services you require for an agreed term, allowing you affordable access to HR Professionals. Natalie has a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management and Professional registration as a Chartered Human Resources Professional with the South African Board of People Practices (SABPP), Ex-Officio Commissioner of Oaths and Member of the South African Society for Labour Law (SASLAW). She believes that if we want to optimize growth in our businesses we need to adapt to the new world of work, shifting from traditional HR approaches to agile people practices embracing change to optimize our productivity.
Kirsten has over 10 years’ experience practicing as an expert Employment law attorney. She obtained both her BCom: Law and LLB degrees with distinction at the University of Pretoria and obtained a post graduate diploma in advanced labour law with distinction at the University of South Africa.
She became a Director at Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr in April 2017 and now consults to a select group of clients. Kirsten is also an admitted notary. Kirsten has worked extensively with a wide range of clients both locally and internationally. She is recognised for her expertise in employment law and has acted for various employers in the public and private sectors alike. She has presented seminars and training workshops on a wide array of legal topics to different audiences and is featured regularly in published articles. Kirsten’s experience covers all aspects of employment law from start to finish, including the formulation and implementation of strategy for each matter, drafting all the necessary documents, reports and pleadings, engaging with adverse parties and appearing personally in various dispute resolution forums (including the CCMA and Labour Court).
